Creating an Artificial Intelligence Driven Tool for Risk Stratification of Oral Lesions.

Dr. Pallavi Kulkarni presented research involving Dr. Susan Perrine, Dr. Neerav Goyal, and others on the creation of an artificial intelligence driven tool for risk stratification of oral lesions at the 2026 Ferraro Resident Symposium in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Penn State College of Medicine University Conference Center on June 2, 2026.

Dr. Kulkarni presented two other research projects at the conference, including, “Deletions in the PTPR Family are Associated with Greater Genomic Structural Instability in Young Patients with Tongue Cancer” and “Cost Effectiveness of Near-Infrared Autofluorescence in Total Thyroidectomy”.
