Megan F. Veltri Presenting Dissertation Data at Anatomy Connected 2024!

Megan F. Veltri, a graduate student in the Richtsmeier Lab, will be presenting preliminary dissertation data at the American Association for Anatomists in Toronto in March 2024! This research, done in collaboration with Drs. Melanie Haffner-Luntzer and Stefan Reber at the University of Ulm, Germany. It emphasizes the importance of understanding the effects of chronic social stress on the regulation of cytokines from the immune system on the development and maintenance of bone and cartilage in the braincase floor (i.e., cranial base).
