New paper in the Anatomical Record commemorating Dr. Pitirri’s work!

From the article:

“This work represents a posthumous summary of Dr. Pitirri’s work in progress before her death on 19 September 2022 combined with new findings from our lab since her death. Dr. Richtsmeier takes responsibility for all aspects of the work, its accuracy, and its integrity. The title of this work is one chosen by Dr. Pitirri for the presentation of her data at the annual meeting of the American Association of Biological Anthropologists in 2022. The prescient title effectively summarizes the message of our work: osteo- and chondroprogenitor cells migrate together to their destinations on the lateral wall of the cranial vault.” Check out the paper here.
