Julian Gifford-Mahany

Professional Bio

Julian is an undergraduate student at Penn State studying engineering science. His interests include materials science, engineering mechanics, and medical applications of engineering. Julian’s work in this lab centers around using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) to analyze the strength of biological materials. Julian hopes to assist Dr. Richtsmeier in getting research on materials characterization of ontogenetic tissues published. Julian’s undergraduate senior thesis will be focused on findings in this lab.
